Indication
2 USES
Ionil® T shampoo is indicated for the relief of the itching and flaking associated with dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis of the scalp.
Dosing
3 DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
May be used daily or as directed by your physician.
Massage Ionil® T Shampoo into wet hair.
Do not expect as much initial sudsing as with anionic non-medicated shampoos.
Rinse, then apply Ionil® T again and massage into a lather.
Allow to remain in hair for about five minutes before rinsing.
For best results, use no soap, detergent or other shampoo on hair before or after using Ionil® T.
Contraindications
Under 4 PRECAUTIONS
Do not use Ionil® T if you are allergic to coal tar or salicylic acid or any of the other components of this medication.
Do not use Ionil® T:
If you have psoriasis with inflammation, exudative eczema (secreting fluid), pustular psoriasis (with blisters), erythromermic psoriasis (redness) all over the body and generalised psoriasis.
If you have a history of photo-induced or photo-aggravated stress (such as photosensitive dermatosis or systemic lupus erythematosus).
