Indication
WHAT IS IT FOR?
Nuromol relieves mild to moderate pain such as migraine, headache, backache, period pain, dental pain, rheumatic and muscular pain, fever associated with cold and flu, sore throat and fever. Nuromol is especially suitable for pain which requires stronger analgesia than ibuprofen or paracetamol alone.
Dosing
DIRECTIONS
For oral administration and short-term use only.
Adult 18 years old and above: Take 1 tablet (or 2 tablets if required) with water and food, up to three times a day.
Do not give to children under 18 years old.
Leave at least 6 hours between doses.
Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
If you accidentally take more than the recommended dose, contact your doctor.
If you forget to take Nuromol do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it and then take the next dose at least 6 hours later.
If symptoms persist or worsen, if new symptoms occur, or if the product is required for more than 3 days, consult your doctor.
When Nuromol is administered for fever or pain relief in relation to infection, monitoring of infection is advised.
Contraindications
CHECK BEFORE YOU TAKE THIS PRODUCT:
As with some pain relievers, do not take this product if you:
experience symptoms of dengue fever (e.g. high fever, severe headache, muscle and joint pains)
have or have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding
are already taking any other Paracetamol containing product.
are taking other NSAID pain killers (e.g. ibuprofen, naproxen) or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg.
are allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol or any other ingredients in Nuromol
are allergic to aspirin or any other NSAIDs
have severe kidney, liver or heart problems
Do not take Nuromol with other paracetamol containing products or other NSAID containing products such as aspirin or Ibuprofen.
Ibuprofen may be associated with a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke. Any risk is more likely with high doses (2400mg daily or 12 tablets) or prolonged treatment. Do not exceed the recommended dose and duration.
Stop taking the product and contact your doctor immediately if you develop signs and symptoms of heart problems or stroke, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness in one part or side of body, or slurring of speech.
If you have had a serious skin reaction with this medicine, do not take it or any products containing paracetamol or acetaminophen again. Doing so could cause you to have another serious skin reaction.
Always seek the advice of your doctor before taking Nuromol with other medicines.
