Indication

WHAT IS PANADOL CHILDREN SUSPENSION USED FOR?
Panadol Children Suspension is indicated for the relief of fever and pain associated with headache, teething, toothache, earache, immunisation, symptoms of cold and flu.

Dosing

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

  • For oral administration only.

  • This product is intended for children age 1 to 12 years. For children below 12 months, use Panadol Children Suspension 120mg/5ml.

  • Shake well before use.
    Recommended dosage of paracetamol per dose is 10–15mg/kg of body weight.

  • Do not exceed the stated dose.

  • Use the smallest dose that you need to treat your child's symptoms and use the medicine for the shortest period of time necessary.

  • Do not use this medicine if your child is taking any other prescription or non-prescription medicines containing paracetamol to treat pain, fever, symptoms of cold and flu.

  • Do not take more than four doses in any 24-hour period.

  • Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours.

  • Do not take for more than 3 days without asking your doctor.

  • Not recommended for children under 1 year.

  • If fever persists for more than 24 hours (4 doses) seek medical advice. This is to ensure that fever that may be due to a serious infection is quickly diagnosed.
