Indication
What Palavo is and what it is used for
Each 5ml contains Paracetamol 120mg.
Palavo Suspension is indicated for the relief of fever and pain associated with headache, teething, toothache, earache, immunization, symptoms of cold and flu.
Dosing
How to take Palavo?
Oral administration only.
This product is intended for children 1–6 years.
Shake well before use.
Recommended dosage of paracetamol per dose is 10–15mg/kg of body weight.

Do not take more than four doses in any 24 hour period.
Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours.
Not recommended in children under 12 months.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Use the smallest dose that you need to treat your symptoms and use the medicine for the shortest period of time necessary.
Maximum duration of continued use without medical advice is 3 days.
If you forget to take Palavo
Take the next dose when needed, provided that the last dose was taken at least 4 hours ago. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If you take too much Palavo
If the child takes more of the medicine than he/she should: Seek medical advice immediately even if the child does not have any symptoms because of the risk of liver failure.
Contraindications
Don’t take Palavo:
If the child is allergic to Paracetamol or any of the other ingredients in the product.
If you are taking any other prescription or non-prescription medicines containing paracetamol to treat pain, fever, symptoms of cold and flu.
