What is Actein Effervescent Tablets 600 mg used for?
Actein Effervescent Tablets 600 mg is used as a mucolytic agent in respiratory conditions associated with excessive mucus production.
Dosing
How do I take Actein Effervescent Tablets 600 mg?
Adults and children above 6 years
1 effervescent tablet of Actein Effervescent Tablets 600 mg once a day
Dissolve the tablet in a glass containing a small quantity of water, mixing it, if necessary, with a spoon. A palatable solution is thus obtained to be drunk immediately
It is preferable not to mix other drugs with the Actein Effervescent Tablets 600 mg solution.
It is advisable to administer antibiotics 2 hours apart from Acetylcysteine.
The duration of treatment should be 5 to 10 days. if you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you must talk to a doctor
Contraindications
When should you not take this medicine?
Do not use it if you had an allergic reaction to acetylcysteine or to any of the excipients.
Children under 6 years of age.
