Indication

Indication:

For the treatment of skin infections caused by staphylococci, streptococci (particularly due to penicillin sensitive strains), Corynebacterium minutissimum and other fusidic acid sensitive organisms e.g. in impetigo, boils, carbuncle, infected wounds, folliculitis, paronychia, sycosis barbae, hidradenitis and erythrasma.

Dosing

Dosage and Administration
Apply to affected area 2 – 3 times daily for 7 days.

Contraindications

Contraindication:
It is contraindicated in infections caused by non-susceptible organisms such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and patients hypersensitive to fusidic acid and propylene glycol.
