Indication

WHAT IS PANADOL FLUMAX USED FOR?
Fast and effective relief of cold and flu symptoms
• Fever and bodyaches. • Blocked nose.

Dosing

HOW TO USE PANADOL FLUMAX:
Adults (including the elderly) and children over 12 years:

  • 1–2 caplets to be taken up to 4 times a day.

  • Do not take more than 8 caplets in 24 hours.

  • If symptoms persist after 5 days, seek medical advice.

  • Do not exceed the stated dose and do not take more frequently than every 4 hours.

  • Do not use for longer than 7 days without asking your doctor.

  • Do not take with any other medicines for the relief of cold and flu, congestion or blocked nose.

  • Do not use this medicine if you are taking any other prescription or non-prescription medicines containing paracetamol to treat pain, fever, symptoms of cold and flu.

  • Always use the smallest dose that you need to treat your symptoms and use the medicine for the shortest period of time necessary.

  • If your symptoms do not improve, speak to your doctor.

Children under 12 years: Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

Contraindications

DO NOT USE IF:

  • You are allergic to Paracetamol, Caffeine, Phenylephrine, or any other ingredients in the product.

  • You are taking, or have taken in the past two weeks, drugs called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), which are used to treat depression.

  • You have problems with an overactive thyroid.

  • You have a serious heart condition.

  • You have high blood pressure (hypertension).

  • You are pregnant or trying to become pregnant.
